Golf lessons across the Bay Area
Most golf lessons happen on a range mat that looks nothing like the course you play. A lesson at your home course is the opposite: the same tee shots, the same greens and the same trouble you face every weekend, with a PGA Professional beside you working out where the shots are going.
Michael's travel range is 20 miles from San Francisco. That takes in the city itself, Daly City and the northern Peninsula, and Marin County over the Golden Gate. Tell him where you play and he'll confirm it's in range.
If you'd rather come to him, Michael teaches from two TrackMan bays inside the clubhouse at Lincoln Park Golf Course, with the course and putting green outside, and at Moscone Park Golf Practice Area near the Marina. Beginner lessons mostly run there, on TrackMan.

Which parts of the Bay Area do you cover?
Anywhere within 20 miles of San Francisco. In practice that means the city, Daly City, the northern Peninsula and Marin County. If you're not sure whether your course is in range, send its name and Michael will tell you.
Do I need to arrange anything with my course?
It's worth checking your course's policy on outside instructors and booking a tee time or a range slot for the lesson. Michael will go through the details with you when you get in touch.
Do you teach Bay Area beginners?
Yes. Complete beginners usually start at Lincoln Park Golf Course in San Francisco, where the indoor TrackMan bays make the first lessons easier and Michael keeps clubs and balls to borrow. Lessons can move to your own course from there.
How much does a lesson at my course cost?
Private lessons at Lincoln Park are $175 for 60 minutes, or $800 for a package of five. For a lesson at your own course, tell Michael where you play and he'll confirm the rate.
