Group and Junior Golf Lessons in San Francisco
Golf is more fun with company, and it's a good deal cheaper to learn that way. Group sessions keep the individual attention — Michael still watches every swing and gives each person their own things to work on — but the cost is split and nobody feels like they're the only one getting something wrong.
Junior coaching is a particular strength. Michael is assistant men's golf coach at the University of San Francisco and spent two years coaching at Archbishop Riordan High School, so the sessions are structured for young players who want to get better rather than just be entertained for an hour.
Groups work well for a few friends who play together, a family wanting to start, a corporate group, or a set of juniors at a similar level. Tell Michael who's coming and what you're hoping to get out of it and he'll shape the session around that.

How many people can be in a group lesson?
Small groups work best — typically a handful of players, so Michael can still watch every swing and give each person their own feedback. Tell him how many of you there are and he'll advise on the right format.
What age do you take junior golfers from?
Michael teaches juniors across a wide age range, from children picking up a club for the first time through to high-school and college-level players preparing for competition. Get in touch with your child's age and experience and he'll suggest the right starting point.
Do we all need to be the same standard?
It helps, but it isn't essential. Michael regularly coaches mixed-ability groups — families especially — and adjusts what each person is working on within the same session.
How much do group golf lessons cost?
